Essex and Ivoryton were the perfect backdrop for Alicia and Chris’s engagement shoot; the perfect weather was an added bonus.  Chris did the hard work and picked out some excellent spots to shoot.  Here are some of my favorite shots:

  

 

I decided to enter one of my pics of the Clinton town beach in the Families Helping Families annual photography contest and won first prize. 

It has been many years since I’ve been to Gillette Castle but it was a great location for Sabrina and Josh’s engagement shoot.  This is a beautiful park with so many cool spots…  Sabrina and Josh were awesome; below are some if the initial pics:

I recently had an opportunity to shoot high-definition video of a wedding using my DSLR.  Video is new for me but it was a chance to try something different.  Carl of Manhattan Media Productions trusted that my photography skills would translate to video. It was a bit strange at first but pulling it all together was lots of fun; especially the editing.  It’s a different process but in the end, it’s still storytelling with images.  So here it is, my first wedding video.

What can I say, fun, fun, fun.  Amanda and Phil were up for anything; even with the fog, wind, and dew.  But we had a blast with this shoot at Quinnipiac University’s York Hill campus.  Here are some of my favorite shots:

Well this was my last wedding of 2010 and what a way to close out the year!  The ceremony took place at St. Joseph’s in New London, an absolutely stunning church.  We then made a fast dash to the Water’s Edge to literally catch the last 15 minutes of light.  Yes, it was cold but Kate and Alex had no problem…

The reception was fantastic and we all had a blast;  Santa even stopped by for a visit.  Kate and Alex were so much fun!  I love, love, love the piano shots…   Here are a few of my favorites…
