It was a brisk but beautiful day; we were lucky enough to catch the last of the fall leaves in the evening light.  Tina and Jesse were fantastic to work with; what a beautiful couple.

For all you photographers, this was my first chance to try out my new 85mm 1.2 lens.  All I can say is WOW; amazingly sharp even wide open!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Senior portraits are a blast and Sarah was great fun to work with.  The weather cooperated and provided some really nice light just before sunset.  Here are some initial shots; soooo many to choose from…

Renee and Joe are an adorable, joyful couple who were just fun to be around.  What a fantastic and emotional day…

Wendy and Mark were a blast but their daughter Brooklyn stole the show for me.  Then again, all the kids were beautiful and lots of fun.

Anna + Wedding Dress + Falling Snow = Fun!  Just a few pics from a recent shoot in the snow.  And yes, she was COLD!  I really wanted to capture the snow as it fell and think the black & white high-key look is just beautiful.

 

 

Nicole and Chris’ wedding was my last of 2009 and what a way to end the year.   960 Main in Hartford is the beautifully and completely restored G. Fox building; the Art Deco motif offered so many possibilities.

Nicole and Chris were great to work with.  I should also note that they delayed their wedding so Matthew, Chris’ brother and best man could be home.  He was stationed in Iraq and recently returned home.
